Re: Gabby's

I guess it's my turn to check in...

Well, this might shock some of you, but I actually attended a church service yesterday, the first one in almost a year!

The church is a new church and the service was held in a school. It's non-denominational (oops, the first time around I typed "demoninational", do you think that's a sign?? ) and very casual and pretty progressive.

It was way different then anything I had ever been to. Ok, well, it really wouldn't take much since I only ever attended UPC churches. But I think that was a good thing, as I am pretty...well...twitchy about things.

All in all, I considered it a pleasant experience.

Re: Gabby's

I found the most excellent production of Jane Eyre!!! It has William Hurt and Charlotte Gainsbourg in it. Excellent script, casting, set design, costuming, etc., etc......... Happened to see it at Hastings yesterday. Love it!!

On the same lines as Pride and Prejudice (Colin Firth) and Miss Potter! I love English films!!

AND my husband actually apologized yesterday for being ugly about my sweet "Redneck dawg", Roscoe!!!

AND I thank the Lord for protecting my son yesterday!! The master cylinder went out in his car and he almost hit a telephone pole!!!!! Thank you Jesus!!
