While two wrongs do not make a right, the KKK has a LONG and sad history of crime against humanity.
I certainly would not lump that crowd with any other group...

Right! I have heard of the KKK all my life and I have only heard nothing but hate come from that group.... How can people get together and form a group based solely on hate for someone of a different color....
I may not agree with everything the NAACP does, at least they were trying to make a change for the betterment of colored people... and yes they have their racial issues....BUT the kkk is just flat out hatred toward those of a different color... They began shortly after the civil war and it was all about white supremecy....and they "solved" their hate issues with violence.... Racism of any kind makes me sick.....I don't care what color you are...

You are correct with how it began, but it wasn't solely about racisim in the beginning...
My paternal grandfather was a street running heathen who ran around on my grandmother in front of both she and her children...he just flat out believed he was above the rules of decency.
Well, one day back in the 30s, the KKK went to my grandma's home and questioned her about where he was. They had heard that he had left his wife and two babies for another woman, and they were going to tar and feather him.
She knew where he was, but lied to spare his life (she wasn't saved then).
True enough he was low down and all of his born days treated his family poorly, but who were they to extend the punishment?!
Anyway, I just have a REAL problem with the KKK...

Yes, me too!
Even with that attitude, they make me sick.... I can't stand it when others think they have a right to take the law into their own hands....and as terrible as it was to leave a wife and babies, it wasn't their place to take care of him.. So they were started to "take care of" all those who didn't live up to their expectations? Ugh!
