Sounworthy,
I am happy that you have found peace and resolution for your pain and sufferring. I too find therapy in writing books...I am in process of writing two.

Ecc 7:14 In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.
There is a day of Blessing & a day of adversity.
He meant it that way so that we would not put our stock in "things or situations" that may not be in our control.

Ron,
Yes, I do beleive I have been the recipient of many good blessings through time and chance and for those I am thankful.
Blessings, Rhoni

Lady Cocoa,
You have to look at the percentages. Some people do make poor decisons, and some just are a recipient of time and chance. As for the accident prone and the hypochondriac...they need therapy LOL

Sounworthy,
You must look at the overall picture...there are many things related to time and chance that happens to us all...but God does promise that he will ..."work all things to the good of those who love him and are the called...according to his purpose."
We must not forget what the Bible says...it goes beyond what we think or feel.

We must always remember the word trumps experience, thoughts, and feeling on a matter.
God does not promise that all good things will happen to us, and He also says time and chance happens to us all. The final outcome outweighs any pain a sufferring we might find in this life whether on purpose, or by time and chance.

I do think "chance" is part of life....but not luck... Luck, to me, is superstition.... Not for Christians.... Now chance, that just happens.... If for some reason my taco sauce drips on my shirt everytime I eat my taco, are tacos bad luck? Of course not...I am sloppy and I need to change the way I eat....or quit going thru the drive thru! lol... If I don't send the chain email letters back will I have a week of bad luck? No! If I break a mirror, will I have bad luck? No...just a mess to clean up.... To me, that is what I consider "luck". Now, do the hypochondriac and accident prone need therapy? maybe so... but I think the hypochondriac needs to get over it's need of attention and the accident prone needs to stay from behind the wheel! just teasing about the last 2~!

You answered Rhoni's post better than I could have.
My personal opinion is there is no such thing as good or bad luck...

The accident prone don't need therapy...they need to slow down and pay attention to what they are doing...JMHO

Re: Truthfully...Do you believe in luck?
I don't know that I call it "good luck and back luck" . . . BUT
I think that there are people that BELIEVE they are bad luck recipients, and they ARE (or at least they seem to be).
AND

Do you think that positive thoughts generate favorable results and negative thoughts unfavorable?
