Is Texas appealing? And if not, are the children going to be sent back?

Texas said they are thinking about it. However, they would be nuts to do so because:

1. The judges were unanimous and unequivacable about the many problems with what occured. (They have a high hurdle to surmont).

2. Texans are beginning to question the wisdom of pouring 30 million dollars into a situation where the facts aren't falling the way CPS alleged. The political hot potato would be better dealt with swiftly rather than drawn out.

I thought of Newman today when I heard the news. I figured this would happen. The seizure was not kosher. I abhor what they are practicing in that compound but this Janet Reno type invasion was not right.

I hope those poor children are not subjected to any more harm by the state. So even if any of those kids were abused, the state can't keep or remove them or prosecute the abusers because the state didn't have grounds to go in the way they did?

What will probable happen is each family will be investigated for abuse individually before the children are released.

That could take a while, over 400 children. I absolutely hate the thought of any child being abused in any way. But I also feel some compassion for the mother's.
