There are several theories out there as to why he is still there.

One is that it has been said that Simon said that if Sanjaya wins then he will quit.

Others include Howard Stern pressing for people to vote for him and a group of people purposely voting for the worst one.

I predict Phil Stacey will go home tonight.

With that little girl boo-hooin' and snottin' all over the place last night for Sanjaya, it's just going to fuel all the little girls' infatuation with him. He will have their strong voting power.

And Haley used her uummm...sex appeal to appeal to a few voters as well, I'm sure.

So that leaves poor Phil Stacey. The next weakest link.
