Guess what, Dan? Our Sunday service was preached by one of our Spanish brothers! Somehow over a year ago, God had brought a couple of saints from Columbia here to Maine, of all places! and then a couple more Columbians. And now a brother from Nicaragra whose wife is from Mexico. We also have a sister in the church from Honduras! My pastor had to go to his daughter's graduation this Sunday and let Bro Morales preach! He not only preached in Spanish but translated it into English! He is full of the Holy Ghost and fire! This was the first time I've ever heard preaching in Spanish or any foreign language. Morton Bustard was here during the week and spoke a word from the Lord that God was going to bless the small Spanish work in our church exponentially! and I have no doubt He will do it.

That's fantastic news, Mizzy. From Colombia, Nicaragua, Honduras to Maine so that they could hear the Gospel.
Brings up an interesting issue for another thread ... I've seen this time and time again during 30 plus years of being around Spanish ministry ... many of these folks are undocumented ... yet had they not come here illegally they would have never been saved or be used to save others. Not assuming anything about the status of those in your post ....
Interesting paradox .... especially for those xenophobes that profess to be Christians.

No, no, Dan, all but two of these saints came from their countries as Apostolics!

That's why I chuckle at those who have not lived w/, fellowshipped or served these people of God ... but cast judgment as to whether they are hypocrites for being here illegally but go to church and profess to be His.
I've heard these arguments here. I'll start a thread on this later ... got a testimony to share w/ it.

Understood some come Apostolics ... come here illegally and serve God's kingdom helping to save countless others ... and yet somehow they are villified by some of their American Apostolic brethren. And yet God's kingdom still grows and prospers w/ "criminals" at the center of it

You might want to vote for John McCain. He mentioned that we needed to be careful with these people as they are also God's creation.
