I don't see debates as profitable, generally, for anything other than entertainment.
They would end up hurting one another, most likely, because both have tempers, and both can be vicious when need be. I can see a lot of below-the-belt stuff coming up.
But. It WOULD be Entertainment Extraordinaire!
