Re: Do u allow Running,Shouting,Dancing in your ch
some of you folk remind of people that don't like
little kids around. They're too nosey, they move too much,
but it's that new blood in the church that brings life.
Thank God for the new converts who are like the babes
in the church that are full of Joy. they haven't been poisoned
with bitter critical church folk who have "been in the way" TOO LONG

LOL!!! The last time I ran the aisles was about 20 years ago and it only the second or third time of my life.
Our music director at the time had gone to JCM with me and was so shocked to see me running he told me later that he almost came off the platform to run also.

The most important thing is to glorify God...not bring attention to ourselves.
I remember reading somewhere that the difference in Hebrew dancing and pagan dancing was Hebrew dancing did not call attention to the body...pagan dances were full of lustful swayings...

It was quite the sight until one of them decided to run with his eyes closed and, THUNK!, ran smack dab into one of those beams. He didn't fall down, he jsut staggered around in a daze for a couple of minutes!

Of course, at the time, I wasn't "in church" like I should have been. I was a bit of a rogue. Amazing my sweetie wanted anything to do with me. She really has tried to reform me.

If you do a little research you will see that the term "shouting" in the Bible has nothing to do with old time Pentecostal "shouting".
Of course ACTUAL "shouting" is a shout whether from the lips of a jew or Pentecostal. This discussion was not about biblical "shouting" but about what Pentecostals call "shouting".
A shout is a shout... WATCH OUT!!!!
That's a shout.

Oh, now we get the 2nd old time Pentecostal response to any discussion of practices. Now we are accused of being "bitter".
You are being very predictable here.
How about some actual contribution to the discussion?

That happens a lot!
There is this older lady in our church, she can only walk slow steps... but when she gets out of her seat and starts walking down the aisle toward the front during a song service... slowly clapping her hands... the place errupts!
The same happens when someone who is usually quiet, gets out of their seat. Emotion and Holy Ghost moving, all tied together I believe. God made us this way!
Rejoice together, Weep together.
