Even Paul told Timothy to take a little wine for the stomachs sake.....or what about laughter doeth good like a medicine? If I laugh am I a warlock?I believe that God uses doctors to reveal more of His power.

That is not like the mind altering medication of today. Wine is good and it has great health benefits as long as it is in moderation.

God uses Doctors, but doctors don't make the drugs.

There are many side affects to medications today and one of them is dulling the senses, which is mind altering to say the least. Look up some of the medications today and look at the many side affects, that is why they say to don't drive or operate machinery. This is one of the reasons James don't take anything and just prays for himself. It works.

Look at the kids today. They are taking the drugs from the cabinets and getting high from them. If that isn't mind altering, then I guess I don't know what it is.

So, you are only against the ones that alter the mind?

I am not into any type of medication at all, but if someone wants to take them, then they can go ahead and do it.

I think those are the ones that Galatians 5:20 is talking about. People on here get so bent out of shape because a scripture has the word witchcraft and it is talking about a pharmacist. Then they take the other meaning of witchcraft, which does mean divination and ignore the meaning of the one for Galatians 5:20. Maybe they should study a little more about it before being judgmental about it. The verse of scripture is very clear.

Right, because we are the ones being judgmental,

Can you explain how you know 100% for sure?

Regardless of the story on this side of the fence you guys keep coming up with the same unsupported argument. There were two fields in the Biblical days, the apothecaries were also religiously rooted and thus were witchcraft but even in the Bible days science played a role in the use of medicine.

But what do i know, universities don't make you learn the history of your field do they?
