Well, that would be nice, but with the price of gas right now, not really getting to run away very often. Generally, the central coast is where we go, Cambria or Pismo.
Right now, it is just basically suffer through it. You don't go outside any more than absolutely necessary. THANK GOD for air conditioning!!
The air quality from all of the fires is making it even worse.
My daughter's apartment in Mountain View doesn't have A/C. She is sweltering in this heat. Today she went and sat at Starbuck's for a VERY long time.

She loves the area, and I do too. All those towns (Palo Alto,Mt. View, Corsicana (?), San Jose.....they all have such great little restaurants and shops. She isn't working yet, so she's just exploring. But the heat is really overwhelming right now.
They are hoping to move to another apartment by the end of the year - with air conditioning, but they want to be totally out of debt, which I'm thankful for.

There are very few new houses or apartments up there, it is pretty much land locked. So most all housing is older.
