I did not read the thread, but I truely doubt they are destroying any books.

They ARE NOT destroying any books. And yes, I did verify that. Some of you need to learn to not be so knee-jerk and to jump on every little anti-UPC thing that is promoted. But then again, this is AFF.
Further, what really makes all of this so funny to me is that most of the ones here weeping and gnashing teeth over this are the last folks on earth who would ever buy a book written by LB and CC. After all, they are UC's. Or didn't you know that?
Further, as far as being a poor business decision, in the whole scheme of the things the value of the inventory of these few men that PPH has is an insignificant amount of their overall inventory.
Lastly, consider this:
If you were a pastor and had an assistant who was an author you probably would sell his books in your church bookstore.
But what would you do if the day came that he decided to leave your church and start a "preferred" church across town? If he solicited membership from your membership? Reckon you would keep his books on your shelves for sale?
