Instead of the new age type music from guitars, it's the Hammond and Leslie music setting the tone.
Take away the "BAM!" and put a coat and tie on the preacher, and it could be an Apostolic youth convention.
The question that I ask is: Is God being glorified?

Pianoman,
as a coat and tie wearing, faith preacher...I have to tell you that that Lakeland cannot be compared to an Apostolic service.
Do over-emotional people come to church sometimes and get a bit of out hand? sure....
But we're not praying to angels to bring down fire.....
we're not telling people to just 'vibrate'
don't know what else to say...
i'm kinda sad that someone would compare that to a genuine move of God...

Clearly, to many there may be similarities between was is real and what is counterfeit...what is the Spirit of truth or the spirit of the anti Christ. We are instructed in 1 John to try/test the spirits to see if they are of God.
1Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 1 John 4:1
This false revival of the apostate church with it's false prophets are deceiving a multitude of people who are spiritually weak. These prophets who claim to to be inspired by the Spirit must be tested, because the claim to have the Spirit is not proof that one does.

You don't think that some of those in the crowd were experiencing a genuine move of God? I think some of them were!
I think God can overlook crazy stuff from an evangelist like "BAM", calling down angels, vibrations, and magic hair to touch a sincere seeker!

I think God can, but the issue is this, "can someone baptize someone in bam & be Biblical?
I think that is a no brainer!

Re: BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those who have a love for truth will come to the Light.
TB is dark, very, very dark.
In God is "no darkness at all. Not even the gradual shading, as the light of day dawns and wanes, due to the turning, of the Earth, on it's axis". (Amp)

Re: BAM!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think some are really getting healed down there...
all that is required is faith...
I'm an open-minded person, I think my friends could attest to that....but i'm not so sure about everything that is going on down there...

BAM is certainly not biblical! Where we differ is how God will judge the person being baptized. They were obeying God by being baptized, so will God judge THEM over what someone else said over them while they were baptized?
If so, their salvation is indeed in the hands of a third party! As new Christians, it is their responsibility to search the scriptures and come to the understanding that being baptized in Jesus name is the only way to heaven. Then it is their responsibility to search out a preacher that will baptize them the correct way!

Just so you know, I'm definitely not comfortable with what's going on there either! Something in my spirit sends up red flags!

PM.
What you're not seeing is when TB lays his hands on those people he is transferring energy or the shakipat. TB is a New Age practitioner and should be marked as such.
These manifestations that we see these people do mirrors the manifestations of the followers of many New Age movements.
I will post a thread which will show that what we are seeing in Florida mirrors the prophecies of the seers and guros of the New Age Movement.

The only problem I have with that is we are putting God into our mindset.
We are judging him by our thought processes & not by the word.
If his word says be baptized in Jesus name. I believe it.
Remember Uzza & the Ark.
It started to falter while being carried & he reached out steady it with the best of intentions & God smote him!
Why? God having a bad day?
No, he may just be righteous and he means what he says.
