He criticized preacher who approved of "video" in an earlier post, since the preacher was selling [Christian] video in his booth at General Conference
I've asked him twice now (--> right here) to show me scripture that indicates why video is a sin, and he still hasn't answered me. I guess he hasn't found the scripture for that yet.
Makes me kinda sad to see stuff like that, actually.

I thought about bumping up my suggestion for him, but one firestorm every few days is getting to be my limit anymore.

What's sadder to me is that he claims that he's "torn down our arguments" and "pinned us to the wall", lol.

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Haven't you heard how to do it? You take a PERSONAL PREFERENCE that you feel other people should adhere to, then you scream and yell about it, and if people ask for scripture you go and it! this is true Isogesis in action!

What's sad to me is that there are so many pastors and preachers in our movement who have done great spiritual damage to many of God's people with that same kind of attitude this guy has displayed here. Pastors are supposed to be shepherds, not spiritual dictators.

I totally agree, once again, the voice of reason has spoken. Hopefully there will be those who heed.....
