Re: What version and Bible do you use, Why?

I have a problem with the more dynamic translations. I prefer the ESV. It has the essentially literal philosophy and accuracy of the NASB and retains the beauty of the KJV. I also use many other translations along with the Bibleworks software.

All time favorite would be KJV because we go back so far together. It's what I read for many years after I got saved in 1955 at the age of 17.

I've read a few versions all the way through, and I have read from and still read from many versions.

I'm not familiar with ESV?

I use many translations along with Bibleworks software as well.

For bible reading I use the NKJV, for study or apologetics I often use the ESV or the NET along with the KJV to show differences
