Okay, we are getting somewhere. I just cut to the chase when he came home early yesterday.
"Are you going to buy me a birthday present?"
"Well, it's a couple of months away. I hadn't thought much about it."
"This is what I want.........."
So, we begin dog obedience training. First opening for a Beginners class is on August 16th.
In the meantime, I will spend more time with him and spray Ammonia on everything I want him to stay away from!!!
Shells are hidden. Life is good.

I meant to tell you yesterday, but I got busy.
get some hot peppers. (scotch bonnet or habinaro are best)
put them in a blender with water and process to a liquid.
strain that thru cheese clothe and put it in a spray bottle. spray that on stuff you dont want the dog to chew.
it wont kill him, and he will learn not to chew on things.
I did this with our cat, and it broke the habit in about 2 days.
