I agree.. but he couldn't give the childrens bread to the dogs first... the children had to reject the bread... did they not?

His Covenant was NOT with the Gentiles throughout all of history

By and large, obviously though not all Jews rejected Jesus

Re: Interesting Quotes from Joel Hemphills new boo

Let's play the MATCH GAME.

Match the quote:

"I am the beginning, and the ending, the first and the last, whih was, which is, and which is to come, the Almighty."

Said quote came from:
a)Peter
b)Paul
c)numerous charismatic tv evangelists
d)Jesus

correct answer: D (although if you choose C, you're half right, and get a do-over).

Is it really that hard to understand?

Dr. Hemphill believes that Jesus was saying exactly what Revelations says.. that he was indeed "The beginning of the creation of God as stated in Revelations... and he was the LAST ADAM.... all humans are either recognized in the first Adam or the last Adam,, so says Bro. Hemphill......

I cannot follow his trend of thought...it becomes confusing after a while.

Sad he seems so mixed up...I remember them from many years ago however I do know he is such a good person.

I hate to say things because information gets mixed up but I think he believes in 2 God´s...maybe someone could tell me if that is true? Being so far away from the states I sometimes get things mixed up...I did hear or maybe read something like that???

Sis. Alvear, that would not be correct...

After speaking extensively with him in private conversations.. Here is what he believes.

He believes in ONE GOD - Jehovah or Father God -- the creator of the world... totally anti-trinity... He believes in Jesus Name Baptism and ONLY ONE GOD

However, he is where he now steps away from the Oneness... He believes that for you and I to say that JESUS is GOD... now in essence creates 2 GODS.. The Father & The Son -- he teaches that there can only be ONE GOD and that "THE MAN CHRIST JESUS" denys publically that he is that ONE GOD

He teaches that Jesus was A PERFECT MAN which GOD DWELLED IN....

and he teaches that of all of the Apostle Pauls prayers - NOT ONE was ever directed to Jesus but always to "The GOD AND FATHER of our LORD JESUS"

therefore saying that JESUS WAS NOT GOD, he was a MAN.... yet a perfect, sinless man and that JESUS is the only WAY TO GOD... that JEsus is the reflection of the invisible God. but not the actual GOD himself.

Of course he shows how Jesus died on the cross without GOD in him.. God deserted his SON and that this shows us a perfect picture of THE MAN having GOD IN HIM and then GOD LEAVES HIM and he dies as he was intended to.. as a man...

He teaches JESUS was not GOD sometimes and Man at other times... He teaches that JESUS told Pilate that he was Not GOD.....

I could go on and on.. he uses over 1,000 scriptures in defense of his teachings..... BUt he is definitly not TWO GODS.. he is actually very dogmatic ONE GOD....
