Acting, if done well, can be hard! Especially if you are playing a character that goes against your nature! I look at the actors who played the roman soldiers taunting Jesus during the flogging scenes of The Passion. Do you think they slept well at night between takes?

Good point, and I would like to add that I brought those two boys into the discussion because they were both taking something on that was supernatural. Just like an actor who must transform himself and take on a spirit to perform.
The actor who plays Judas, a Roman Solider beating Jesus, or Satan temptinng Jesus, may go through the same changes. So what does an actor really take on when he must transform himself?
