I posted about a washer/dryer that I needed. The guy I was going to buy those from hasn't contacted me since, so I gave up, but my sister's pastor had a stackable one, and I looked at it last night.
It's the right size, so I talked to him about the conditions and how and when I'd be paying for it. He told me to pay $100 and he'd let me have it owing the rest.
Well, I don't get paid until Sept 10th at the earliest, but I didn't say anything but thanks, and I'd be in touch.
I talked to my sister on the way home and she told me that she'd see what she could do after paying her bills. I told her not to worry about it, and I talked to God and asked Him to intervene.
LR called me after I got home, and I told her about the conversation. She asked if I needed her to deposit money into my account (that's still in WI) and I told her no, not yet, as I was going to see what my options were. While talking to her, my sister calls again.
She tells me that I can pick up the washer/dryer whenever, as the pastor called Dad and told him that he couldn't let me wait that long when he knew I needed it right away!
So, I picked it up today, and after spending about an hour getting it into the laundry room (that's another story, but this house isn't built right!), all I had to buy was a dryer vent.
Oh, and I discovered a pinhole in the drain hose. It's plastic, and to replace it would mean I have to take the back off the washer, which I wasn't about to do, so I got some rope caulk and clear plastic packing tape and VOILA!! I'm a genius.....LOL!
I did four loads of laundry today, and I'm a happy girl.
God is watching out for me, even though I'm so undeserving.
Now.....Wednesday is my big day.
Maybe you've already said this, but my brain is foggy. LOL! Did you end up moving to Herrin?

Yes. You gonna come see me?
Your brother preached in Anna Thursday night. My kids went. My daughter said she was going to ask him if he knew me because I've talked about him so often. I said, no, he won't know me, but his sister does! LOL!

Ah.....Herrin & Anna......my old stomping grounds. I spent so many hours in Herrin when I was a teenager. We avoided Anna as that's where the state mental institution was and we were a little freaked out by that as kids. LOL!

Choate is still there....LOL!
I'm going to Dorothy Underwood and Ruth Hayes' old church in West Frankfort in the morning. It's not UPC anymore, but still preaches the truth. I know a few folks over there also, and I'm looking forward to seeing them all.

Is that where any of the Blades go? Jack & Frances would be in their seventies now, and they had two kids, Sandy & Mike. Sandy is in Dallas, but Mike & his family still live there close. Not sure where they go to church. They used to all be at Hilderbrand's (sp.).
There were other Blades too....Nathan, Patty, Gay - do you know any of them?

I just know Mike. He's married to Lora, and they have two children, Ashley and I can't remember the boy's name....LOL!
Ashley is married and just had a baby. Can't remember if she had a girl or boy, but she lives in the STL area, I think.
Mike and Lora attend the Johnston City church, and he sure plays a mean organ!!!
They are wonderful folks.

None of the Blades attend there now. Jack and Frances live about a half a mile from my home. We are good friends with Lindell, which is Jacks brother. Living in this area though there is always a member of that family to run into!!!! lol The whole family are all wonderful people!!

Please tell Jack & Frances or Mike (if you see him) that Sherri (Graham) Cupples said hi. They will not know me by Cupples, because I haven't seen them in 30 years! Sandy was one of my best friends growing up and she was praying with me the night I received the Holy Ghost at IL youth camp. Mike is just a little younger than me. Great family!
