there was a meeting of some type today in San Diego IM not sure if it was a district board meeting or what but he said I resign.

Many did not expect him to allow his name to stand. He has done a good job, but his health is not what it was.

Your first two statements are correct. Your final statement is correct...but leaves the impression he resigned over his health. Not the case for what happened tonight.
