RD, for the sake of this discussion, "trusting God" refers to not going to see a doctor and relying solely on prayer.

I realize that's the way you are using it. I just want to understand your position. Seems that if an emergency arises you don't hold to that premise........depending on the severity of the situation.

I have yet to hear of someone in a car wreck who was injured but refused treatment because they wanted to trust God instead.
In most cases, they don't have a choice as to whether or not they receive emergency medical care.
