Let me just add how the inevitable scene of conservative leaders and radio hosts jumping on the McCain bandwagon after speaking out against his brand of ideaology illustrates the nature of partisanship. You end up having to support someone inspite of your convictions without them having to do much to line up to those convictions.

I think that things evolve and cycles occur.

It is recorded that Palin has taken some tough stands, even against her own party, to oust corruption. Could we vote this ticket and hope this country does evolve into better things?

I don't see the big players on Obama's ticket having the same resume.

After all, not only in our churches, but across the country people are looking to God. I have hopes in this. It can only spill out into the Government.

We can't forget that this world is about the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It's His world and nothing is going unnoticed by Him.

PO, I have not been around as some but I have already gotten tired of the "vote and hope" way of doing things. How about you gain my vote based on your pledged actions and I hold you accountable.
I'm looking for real solutions. My last power bill was $466.41. If somebody doesn't do something soon, I'm not going to be accountable for my actions

Don't come after me with a stick, Brutha! I'll turn my dog loose on you!

Well, that might not work. He just likes to lick people.

Stew,
I'm saying that I am responsible as a Christian - first - and a citizen of this country to vote who represents me most. As Ferd said, "It's the Republican party."

If I am supposed to pray for my government, then I need to also vote.

Underlying all of these things - God is manuvering everything. We go about shopping, talking on a Forum, filling up our cars AND God is working all over the world.

So, I vote, I pray and I believe that when the scripture says in Matthew 13 that the mustard seed is small and grows into a tree large enough for the birds to sit in, it's going to happen.

I vote for McCain/Palin '08

I approve of this message.

We can't help if you leave all the lights on in the house and stand looking in the fridge with the door open like something good is going to hop out of there!

I'm afraid that that would push my bill well into the 4 figure region
