Re: Carlton Pearson closes his church

I'm pretty sure he'll be preaching, writing books, or finding other ways to spread his poison.

You do realize that merging services is different than closing his church doors...right?

His website doesn't have much info, just that they're meeting at another church, and what times.

I don't really know most of those folks.

One of the infamous Paulks, oh boy.
And Louis Farrakhan? what is this a pro-Obama rally?

Interesting mix of guests and speakers, including..

James Levinson - Jewish Rabbi
Michael Beckwith - New Age
Dr. Barbara King - affiliated with New Thought/New Age
Louis Farrakhan - Nation of Islam
Yvette Flunders - Lesbian Bishop (Church of Christ)

Interesting that Carlton Pearson calls the event a "Parliament of Spiritual Traditions." sounds suspiciously close to the "Council for a Parliament of The World Religions" http://www.parliamentofreligions.org/index.cfm

...Another step in the direction of the coming One World Religion.
How sad.
It's a shame how the devil has twisted this man's mind.

Re: Carlton Pearson closes his church

I don't think he will die with his mind and heart in the same state it is in right now. I think the Lord is going to draw him to repentance and back to the Gospel.

This is not the last we've heard of this guy.

The rendition of "Peace in The Valley" where he did the duet with Sis. Micky Mangun is still one of my favorite Traditonal Gospel songs.

But I like Sis. Micky Mangun whole lot!

Let's hope you're right. Hell is a hot place.

The first link has no article on that page. I'm digging around the website looking for something, but no luck yet. The second url is invalid.
