It reminds me a lot of the book "Unlimited Access" by a retired FBI agent who had that status in both the Bush and Clinton White Houses. The job, one that is considered the plum job of all FBI assignments, and one that very few get, became such a disappointment to this man that he chose to retire only after two years with the Clinton White House.
When the Clinton entourage arrived in the WH, all professionalism was thrown out the window. This man watched as the Bush WH honored the time honored traditions of the WH and the presidency. The Clintonistas came storming in and turned the place upside down. They were rude to the long term staff. They were disorganized, helter skelter, crude and classless. Its one of the best tell all books I've ever read. It will blow your mind. It was a reflection of Clinton, his style of leadership and the type of people he chose to surround himself with.
I wonder, if Obama cant run an efficient and thoughtful campaign behind the scenes, how can we be certain in the WH things would b different?
