As are ties, suits unless you live on wall st, leather shoes and a lot of other things...so what is wrong with unnecessary adornment? If all we are allowed to do according to scriptures is what is necessary, then we need to get off the internet too. If you need it for work the use it ONLY for work.

I am not an earring advocate, male or female.
But, as to the above post, so are ties. Albeit unnecessary, both are accepted as normal attire, but both are more or less identified with one gender or the other.
I think it could very well be more to the intent of Deut. 22:5 than pants, especially in our society.

Ron, did you think this through? God didn't create us with a lot of things...in fact the only thing we had was a garden and even that was not ours.
BTW ear rings draw no more attention to our selves than glasses do...maybe we should make it a sin to wear glasses and force everyone to get contacts?
