You know...when I got the call about this ASININE thread......I thought it was just Mark being Mark....and turns out that IS all it is...

I am (PROUDLY) the most liberal poster on JP....there has NEVER been a "weeding out" of anybody except liars that join under a false name and then get caught.

I will have to disagree. I know a preacher who was a long time member of JP who gave his real name and correct info when he signed up and his account was restricted access. If you would read this entire thread, you would find out what the real happenings were and how they are being corrected. Find my responses to Elder Epley for explanations.

If your friend is a non-posting member, then this may explain why.

"Lurkers" who never post are more likely to be people signed up under false pretenses than someone who regularly interacts.

All he has to do is provide a little information or perhaps a reference that will verify his identity.

Thats what I did. Since I mostly just read, I provided some info and all is well. Why not? I don't have anything to hide.

Seems like a lot of fuss over nothing but thats just my opinion.
