What constitutes a personal attack anyway? This I've always wondered. Because I find I feel personally attacked when someone maligns my character in anyway, when someone insinuates I've done something wrong, when someone questions my character, paints me in a negative light without an outright accusation... I find that to be a personal thing. And of course that would work both ways.

It's one thing to say, "I believe, or it's my opinion that you are wrong on this issue, or - I do not agree with you, and think you are wrong, or - I think your opinion is incorrect, etc".
Any thread that speculates on gossip or rumors is in poor taste, but not necessarily a personal attack. Those are left up to the judgment of the other members and admins.

BREAKING NEWS - JP is banning people. Not necessarily an attack against a "person", and is generally resolved by other members who are connected with the forum.
Here's one that would be deleted immediately:
BREAKING NEWS: Bro. Soandso is a CHILD MOLESTER
Unless there was a news story that was public domain that could be referenced in the post, its a safe bet that this one would be removed immediately.

Sister, I am pointing out the Justpreachers would not allow a thread to continue about ApostolicFriendsForum. It shows how the administration does not want to allow an us-against-them attitude to arise. It's just not AFF, but any other forum is not allowed to be picked apart by the members of JustPreachers. Sister you want to talk about JustPreachers? Tell me what is the objective? What is the goal that we are trying to reach by discussing JustPreachers? Hey, I'm good to go, run it up the flag pole and let's have at it? Doctrine, Charismatics, homosexuals, even politics to motorcycles. I've discussed it all since FCF, NFCF, to AFF, and JP. My beef was about starting a thread with a misrepresentation. Elder Renfro Jr came on an personally presented his side. So, I ask the question again, what are we trying to achieve?
Nothing personal, I don't believe anyone will be crying themselves to sleep tonight over this. Just since we have reached this point, where does the discussion go from here?
