Take the facial hair debate for example, how many times can we come to the same conclusion, that there is NO scripture to even remotely back up a total ban on men and facial hair.
But some with out a thread of evidence will continue to not allow someone to be a part of the church they pastor.
There seems to be "nothing new under the sun" sometimes.

OP were born in adversity and many cannot endure an atmosphere of peace. I go to a church that I don't agree with everything yet I love the people, the community is what makes it meaningful. We should be able to fellowship and love the Body of Christ without always having to stir up debate. We need to be able to have discussion without demonizing our brothers and sisters. Folks are different, different temperaments process information differently therefore we will see things differently. God made us with this diversity, yet with the ability, in Him, to be part of the same body, "each providing what the others lack".
