Re: Seven Days of Sex... Woo Hoo!! :)
American Christianity is so very focused on sex sin it's really strange. We condemn things that the Bible addresses as perfectly normal. For example....
Song of Solomon 5:2-5 (NLT)
2 I slept, but my heart was awake,
when I heard my lover knocking and calling:
“Open to me, my treasure, my darling,
my dove, my perfect one.
My head is drenched with dew,
my hair with the dampness of the night.”
3 But I responded,
“I have taken off my robe.
Should I get dressed again?
I have washed my feet.
Should I get them soiled?”
4 My lover tried to unlatch the door,
and my heart thrilled within me.
5 I jumped up to open the door for my love,
and my hands dripped with perfume.
My fingers dripped with lovely myrrh
as I pulled back the bolt. Here's a young woman who's laying in bed eyes closed, but her heart's awake thinking about her lover. Her lover comes to the door and tries to get in to her. She jumps up to let him in...her hands dripping with lovely "myrrh". The passage is rather suggestive.

You took a good post and ruined it by giving it your own meaning.

Ew. I agree with Renda.
Keep some of your thoughts to yourself.

Yeah, THIS post crossed the line, Antipas.

Let me know if the edit presents it better now.
Jeesh guys, what I wrote is nothing compared to what some Jewish commentators have written about it. There was a time when the book wasn't taught to anyone under 30 years old in rabbinical schools because of it's content.

I hope you're not serious, because if you are, I might have the inclination to bop you over your virtual head. It's not about being "inhibited."
I would have the same reaction if some guy at church had spoken the same paragraph out loud in my presence. e.g., "It's GROSS to hear you TALK like that." Very crude. You can have an adult conversation without being crude and crass. At least, I think it SHOULD be possible. So far on this thread, a few have proven they don't have that ability.
