Re: Shame On You Christians..gays riot

Well, they didn't have a city permit... shouldn't have been praying in the street.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

HaHa. I didn't say that they deserved anything. What happened is really sad. It's only the beginning.

Re: Shame On You Christians..gays riot

I was in the city a few weeks ago (SF) and was driving up market and mission. I just shook my head and thought " there is little hope for this place unless some kind of miracle happens.

I don't think anyone should even attempt to go to SF unless you are like the prophet Jeremiah and on an direct assignment from God.

Is this TIC? I wouldn't ask permission of anyone to pray anywhere, if I felt the need. No Christian should. When I pray, it's between me and God, even if its on a street corner.

A group of people meeting in/near the street for whatever purpose requires a permit per most municipal codes.

And here I thought Christians followed the "laws of the land."

Unless the laws interfere with God's laws. E.g., Daniel.

I'm not saying one way or the other for the group in question--I don't think there's enough info in the article. But in general, Christians SHOULD obey the laws of the land. Except for when doing so would require disobeying God OR would require one to display shame or embarrassment for being a follower of Christ.

I am NOT a fan of public protests or demonstrations. That is not what my comments were about.
