I'm confused. Do you think it's wrong to put any decorations in your house? Or only those items which may or may not have been used in pagan rituals or worship in times past or present?

What about sprinklings of colorful leaves on the Thanksgiving table?

Red glitter on the table on Valentine's day? Red hearts? Valentine's cards with cupid on the front?

Do you celebrate birthdays?

None of the above. St Valentine? Anyone still pray the rosary?

Really? No birthdays? Not even a "Happy Birthday, I'm glad you were born 8/9/10 years ago on this day" to your kids? Why not?

Why should we? Will we go to hell if we don't?

LOL! No. I'm just wondering what your reasons are. My Dad didn't celebrate Christmas, but he sure did want birthday presents and cake.

Cake, I can have anytime I want. No need for any frills.

Yeah...but you didn't answer my questions!!!

Do your kids ask about birthdays? What do you tell them, if anything? What are your scriptural reasons, if any?

I'm just curious. Not in attack mode.

No birthdays?

That is for sure a Jehova Witness stance.

Say hello to Prince at the next meeting....
