Brother Price,

I hardly know you and have not posted with you much at all. However, I do know your record. If I had changed doctrines as much as you have I could barely show my face much less post like I have advice to give others.

How about the Word?

As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, "YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY." (1 Peter 1:14-16)

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. (2 Corinthians 7:1)

Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, "I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. "Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE," says the Lord. "AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you. "And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me," Says the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)

I am not giving advice, just the Word. Let God be the one who tells them what to do. I know this means little to some, but if one chooses to disobey God's Word, then their blood is upon their hands. Come out and be separate is still the call to the believers. This includes pagan holy days.

Let the Word give advice.

But Bro. Price, you seem to have a great deal of difficulty deciding what God is saying. People have disagreed about what God wants from the beginning of time. There is no perfect doctrine. There are no perfect people. You're not perfect. I'm not perfect. And that's not a terrible thing.

Re: We're Not Putting X-Mas Trees Up!

But, the Word of God is perfect...

The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the LORD are true; they are righteous altogether. (Psalms 19:7-9)

And as for my great difficulty, I just quit listening to everyone, read for what the Word says, and stopped all the foolishness. I just want God, and am doing what we are called to do.

Bro. Price,

"BE STILL and know that I am God." REST in Him. Be still. Be quiet. Just listen and learn. You learn a whole lot more by being quiet than by speaking.

Bill it's the messenger, and the messenger has changed direction more times that when you add your comments to the chosen scriptures it's ignored.

At least I am speaking truth. Someone on here maybe seeking and trust me, some are. I want the truth presented to someone. And, regardless of my past, which is destroyed beyond measure, i choose to speak what the Lord has said.

I will speak, and will not be silenced when it comes to the profaning of the name of my Lord. Seekers need to knwo the truth, not some watered down mix of paganism and Christianity.

Whoa! Now that's a scary thought! So, Billy boy, when you do the flip flop, don't you even consider that those who you convert might loose interest, and disregard even what truth you have given them? Bill, you are disqualified to advise anyone. You kill the message by your track record.

Just cool your jets, and sit under some good ministry for over 20 years and then let's see how you're doing Bill.

Then stay in with some consistancy. Bill wake up!

So why say it and never live it long enough for anyone to care?

Yet, you don't care when it comes to your actions? Bill, wake up!

I don't believe you believe that. I don't believe you care. Wake up Bill, and smell the pine needles.

So as long as the lines are blurred enough.... it's ok. Which bascally if you water down the pagan part we can party.

I see it now the liberals said it was ok to get it on with the pagans, the conservatives said no way and wanted no part. The liberals bring in Christianity to a pagan holiday and overtime the liberals blur the lines enough to point to all the others it's all about Christ. Don't mind the reason this day was set apart by pagans and we hijacked it enough to make it palatable to even many conservatives. See it's about Jesus! Sorry but I don't like Constantine and most others in that era. Next you will be telling me fertility eggs are ok on easter etc.... Let's have the children run around practicing more paganism.
