As far as what I have read, Marijuana does nothing to heal your body in any way, it only allows you to tolerate the pain. In some cases it slows down the healing process.
Pressing, how does codine heal a body?

Marijuana helps people on Chemo get over nausia and that allows them to eat. for a cancer patient, eating isnt over rated.

Now I would NEVER say that Marijuana should be legal for recreational purposes.

but for medical purposes, mj is a very good drug and a doctor ought to be allowed to use it to treat sick people. Not allowing a doctor to use this drug really is IMHO a human rights violation.

Ferd,
I haven't looked into a study on Codine vs. Mary Jane, but I do remember reading that Marijuana, in many cases, slows down the healing process. That was some years ago, I don't have the information now.

That's all I know, thus far, I don't do medicine. Hope I never have to.

i would want the source of that study. i suspect it was either a pharm company or an anit Marijuana organization.

I seriously that MJ has a negative impact on healing in the instances where it could be used.

and beyond that the 2 top areas are in patience that have cancer and are taking chemo and with the terminally ill who suffer extreme chronic pain.

(especially with the terminally ill, healing isnt exactly a problem.)

I just used the miricle of the internet and found that
1. smoking anything restricts the flow of blood. that will reduce healing from surgery.

2. smoking isnt a very good delivery system.

I agree with both those views.
