As you know, you and I agree on some and disagree on some gun issues.
But honestly, the few discussions here over gun issues have gone MUCH better than some Biblical discussions LOL

I look forward to a good gun laws discussion.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

About the topic at hand......

Timmy..... I'm kinda speechless too LOL

But I'll give it a shot.

As some of you may know, I am VERY PRO gun.
My wife and I both carry, and own several.

I do think the victim here probably deserved to be pimp smacked a time or two, but absolutely not shot.

The shooter should be prosecuted to the fullest extent, and should have had a psychological evaluation that would most likely have discovered his anger and irrational reactionary issues and resulted in prohibiting him from purchasing the gun.

If we find out that the guy owned it illegally, then it just backs up the argument that only law abiding citizens obey the gun laws, and we should enforce the ones we have before we adopt any new ones.

Another thing, its obvious the victim was of the typical American type who is clueless to his surroundings.
He should have never cut the guy off, he should have seen him coming and noticed the potential for road rage. He should have been prepared to take protective action.

They both hold fault. However, the victims fault is just ignorance, and possibly stupidity.
The shooters fault is criminal, stupidity, and deserves prosecution.

Sympathise with the frustration, yes. The action, absolutely not.

Naw dude, they would have to be in an 87 capris classic with twenny fo inch rims hoding the gun sideways to "pop a cap".

If they were in a 4x4 truck they would be "ventelatin yer noggin".

Get it straight!

Think about it, in order for you to be driving and to be driven off the road by someone else, that person had to do something more than just accidentally cut you off. I don't see how this could have been as harmless as forgetting to turn on your right blinker before making your turn.

Please, someone show me where I contradicted myself.
OK

I disagree.

Understanding the sentiment is fine. approving the sentiment and/or supporting the action due to the sentiment is not.

I am glad that the idiot driver did not die, but I don't feel sorry for him.
Absolutely not!

All of the above may very well be riding around with a loaded weapon.
I do in fact. BUT ONLY A CRIMINAL would illegally shoot that firearm.
