I remember them! My aunt use to give us kool-aid in them. Sure was cold and good.
I saw a set of these in a antique store a couple of years ago. I stated to buy them 'til I saw they cost 8.00.....
a piece! No joke!

That's a bummer. I need a few. The kids have broken most of the glass glasses since they've been home. I hate plastic. (and they've broken a few of those too...HOW???)

You can order them from the Vermont store. Plus I saw some at the trade day Friday.
Not cheap.
I loved them also.

I love those! I like putting my milk in the freezer and getting it really cold. We used to put those glasses in the freezer. My kids put their milk in the freezer too!

LOL - - my brother and son both do that.
I don't like milk, but if I drink it it has to be very, very cold.

My grandma had those glasses. They were the best things in the world to use for cold, cold iced tea! We kids had to drink ours with 3/4 glass of milk and 1/4 glass of tea. Then I always added 2 spoons of sugar to mine.
I think my mom let me drink that because it was the ONLY way she could get milk in me. I hate milk!! I still don't drink it - EVER.
