Maybe it was because you started cooking lighter foods after that.

I love salad with Avacado, black olives, Feta cheese, olive oil, garlic and balsamic vinegar!!! Yummy!

On the subject of salads... I love a good Ceasar Salad...

But I can't stand it when they put a bunch of the crunch parts in there.

Man... a Ceasar Salad is supposed to be light leafy greens with none of that hard stuff.

The Croutons? Is that what you mean by the crunch parts or the rib of the lettuce leaf. I hate that too! I hate a salad drenched in salad dressing or oil!!! My husband has salad dressing with his salad and not the other way around. Yuck!!
