Re: Are You Eliminating Debt/Backstocking Food?

Well, I stocked piled some food, but I've already eaten it - - guess I need to get some more, huh?

I do one big shopping trip a month. If the disaster hits at the beginning of the month, we'll be good for..well...about a month. lol If it hits at the end, I'll be begging from neighbors within days.

I've shopped once a week for years. I never have to go back during the week - I have it down pat! The most I spend is about $150. I usually only spend about $125. If you buy meat, fruit and vegetables and have that in mind, you will always save!

It wouldn't do any good. You'd probably eat that too.

Lol!

Well, I have got to get the concept of stockpiling down. Just because I have it on the shelf doesn't mean I don't have to buy groceries for a month. I need to keep buying groceries and leave the stockpile alone. Why didn't someone explain that to me?

It's a new concept.

Buy it, put it up in storage, forget it, discover it years later, throw it all away...too badly spoiled.
