Re: Your NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS
I am going to continue a health lifestyle- lose 15 more lbs.
Get back on my walking program- I have not been able to walk since my mom has been in the hospital
Clean each room in my house from ceiling to floor-
Reorganize my closets
Clean out some of the junk and not bring more junk in-
Trim our budget down more

If you succeed in this I need you to pass the secret to your success to my wife and daughter.

Walk the halls, go out for some fresh air and go for a walk while your mother is resting. I remember having to do that
From reading that thread about saving money, I doubt you need to trim your budget anymore

Re: Your NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS
Get out of debt, as much as possible. We only have mortgage debt, so I'm going to ferociously attack it this year, especially if we sell the property that I'd like to sell. I will pay that chunk on my house and then not owe much at all!
Lose 30-40 pounds!! I have let myself go and I hate it. I have never been this heavy. I need to exercise. I have a gym membership that I pay every month, but I haven't been for about six months!
Try to get more organized and cook more. I love to cook, but I love to cook really good rich foods and desserts, which had led to problem number two above.

LOL!!! Me, too, Sherri. Nearly everything I cook lately seems like it has butter or cream or bacon in it--like Paula Dean--"You start with a stick of buttah." Buttah is right!!!!

I have made in the past week, Chicken Kiev (with gobs of real butter and swiss cheese), Lasagna, and Beef Stroganoff. When my kids are home, I try to make all their favorites. Plus I've made pecan pie, pumpkin pie, cookies, truffles, and lemon ice box pie. I don't even want to think about how much I weigh.
