From this I can discern that God will send His spirit to draw us into truth, but if we refuse to move, and it's truly false doctrine that we're embracing, God will not put His stamp of approval on it, and will withdraw His presence.
So, I can't say the analogy is solid in this case.

But even you left some loop holes in there, I dont think God moves as a "stamp of approval" as much as a "call of the lost".
I do agree that God will allow those not responding to fall as reprobates, but again, me and you know our children so we know when it becomes hopeless, God knows His children.
Again, I don't have all the answers, I just live in faith that God knows what He is doing.

If said 'revelation' negates or trys to nullify these verses it's not a 'revelation' from God:

IMO IF it is a revelation from God it would draw you closer to Him and/or service to Him.

It begs a question then, define false doctrine?

Re: FEAR FACTOR: Pentecostal/Apostolic Style
So, for the sake of further discussion, what do some think are hindrances to receiving "revelation" from God?

1. Bound by tradition
2. Fear of man
3. Not willing to pay the price for a closer walk with God

And, I agree with this. This sums it up pretty well.

I was referring to your statement that God moves on this in false doctrine who are unsaved.
What did you have in mind concerning false doctrine?

I have to go to Physio but here is one thing also to consider.
There is a genuine move of God & a false "counterfeit" move!
