i do have a radio and a telephone, but i do not beleive it will take me to hell. unless you use the phone to talk to someone you should not be talking to and for a radio i do have one unless you are listening to something you should not be listening to, like really bad music that i do not listen to that junky stuff, if the music does not glorify God than i will not listen to it

I don't believe the radio and telephone are evil either (obviously) even though the radio can play junk and the telephone can be used to spread gossip and arrange drug sales and "hits" on rival bosses.

But they ARE things that were once preached against in the early UPC church (and surely other conservative church orgs like the Southern baptists). The simple point is, why is it ok to abandon those old paths and still so important to maintain others?
