Emotional affair or lust is sin too, but the act itself is greater, When lust is planted it can be repented of and reversed, sornication can never be undone.

I wonder if we more upset if our mates lusted after someone verses fornicating with them?

Good question. I guess if they actually had a physical relationship, it would be much harder to forgive. I think it would be for me, anyway.
