I don't see voting for someone as necessarily "supporting" them, in a sense that you are endorsing everything they do, say or believe in. In an election, you're limited to one of two choices, and usually NEITHER candidate has a clean slate. It's just a strategic political choice that has to do with the government of our country, and in the large scheme of things, I don't believe a person's Christianity can be properly weighed by which person they voted for.
I do think it points to a mindset, but not necessarily an evil or unchristian mindset.
I understand your point, but I'm not ready to judge other folks' love for God based on whose name they checked on a ballot.
