Are you hearing what you want to hear?
Do you agree that there are some topics that are only appropriate for adults? And some topics that shouldn't be discussed in a mixed setting?
I wouldn't want to discuss details about sex in a room with any men, other than my husband. Nor do I want a man to be the one talking to me about sex. Now, an older woman? One who has been successful in marriage? That's fine.
My pastor? Nope. Don't want to hear what he has to say about sex. Sorry. (Other than what's already written in plain black and white print in scripture.)
Discussing it from a generic, biblical perspective is fine. Getting into details, personal stories or anecdotes, etc.--I'm not interested in that. That's why I said I would like to know ahead of time what is going to be discussed. Then I would decide whether or not to attend, and whether or not to hire a babysitter.
