Well, lets face it... generally speaking, men tend to be more focused on doctrinal issues as a whole, moreso than women.
And, in my opinion, men are more focused on women's bodies than women are focused on men's bodies. In my opinion, that is a general rule and not 100 percent true.

True.
Men generally tend to be more visual, and more likely to be tempted by a woman who's dressed 'inappropriately', than vice versa.

Someone help me understand. As far as docrine, if you are a one stepper what do you believe the plan of salvation is?
I think Baptists are one steppers. Repeat the sinners prayer. Then they say baptism is an outward sign of an inward grace. That makes my head spin. If you belive that, why do you feel a need to get baptised so you use that to show "whoever" you have completed the plan of salvavation but to show others I've been saved I'm going to get baptised.

Wow. People really believe that??????
Well Jaxon a One Stepper can mean a couple of things within what we call "apostolic"
It can mean (and this is the neo-popular version most accepted here): A person is saved at repentance and it is proper for a saved person to make an outward gesture to the world of that salvation by being baptized (in Jesus Name is the "most biblical), further they will state (some more strongly than others) that Saved people can and should seek to recieve the Holy Ghost which gives the saved person greater power or a second blessing. Some will say that is evidenced by speaking in tongues. Others will suggest that talking in tongues may be one kind of evidence but there are other evidences of the working power of the spirit....
The second and less popular version (at least among the neo-PCI crowd) is that a person is forgiven at repentance and thus their sins are remitted (forgivness and remittance are the same thing) and all saved people will be baptized in Jesus Name and will recieve the HG with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
the former is more popular now.
the latter represents an older version that seems to get short srift from those expounding the "PCI" doctrine these days.... but is in my opinion much more representative of those old PCI men that helped to form the UPCI.

Regardless of what steppers the Baptists are, I know two precious ladies
with strong Baptists backgrounds that have hung around some of those
Pentecostals for years and tonight they will step into the waters of Jesus
Name Baptism. They have both recently received the Holy Ghost speaking
with tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance!! O Happy Day... when JESUS
washed, He washed my sins all away.!

I was a Baptist.
I had been baptized by a Baptist minister and had been voted in as a member of a local Baptist Church but I was later baptized in Jesus' name.

Yes, He brings us out of darkness into His marvelous light, doesn't HE!
A better explanation? As in a better explanation for what the purpose of baptism is?
Can you honestly say you've read the book of Acts and still need a better explanation for the purpose of baptism?
And yes, I know most who refer to themselves as one-steppers would refer to baptism as an outward sign of an inward grace. First....where is the scripture for that?
Second............if you really feel that you have followed the biblical plan of salvation,
yet there is still something missing........... and that "something" is showing others you have completed the plan of salvation by getting baptized??????
If you've truly completed the biblical plan of salvation why do you feel the need to do this (baptism) just to let others know that you've been saved?
