Pressing that makes me so mad!
Ewww! What a jerk! Lord forgive me anyone could fall and all that--but to literally think you can have the pick of women in your congregation as a girlfriend--makes me wish I could kick him!...or punch him....then ask God to forgive me

He was so smart and so nice. It's too bad he ended up the way he did. Very easy person to talk to. I could hardly look at him when he would preach. We were in the middle of trying to get someone to come up with the proof. None of the ladies would talk. Finally one did - thank God! I admire her for it. She risked her whole life to save the church!

What manipulation!
I guess he wasn't married to someone that made him fear falling asleep at night-
I had family members that would say things to their spouses like:
"If you do this or that-you better find somewhere else to sleep, because if you fall asleep in my bed, when you wake up you might have something missing"

I remember a lady who lived up the street whos husband was known to go to the bar till wee hours and come home drunk, usually with the smell of another on him. One night he came home and passed out in the bed, she wrapped the sheets and blankets around him and started in with a broom handle. Nearly killed him before he could get his drunk self out of the sheets.
Was home at 5:30p everyday after that.
