Re: How to Save Money
Here's an idea I will keep in my back pocket. I don't know that I'll do this, but I am intrigued with the idea!! Has anybody done this?

I think it's a great idea! I have been tossing it around in my mind....and it has spun a few other thoughts....thoughts that may suit me better. But for party-going, love to chat with people, etc folks, what a great idea! Looks like $700.00 to sign up though and then YOU have to buy the gold and then send it and then they send you a check. That may give pause to some. But what a great idea to walk AWAY from a party with money!! Husbands will love it!!

My thoughts exactly. And I wouldn't even mind the sign up fee if I knew the program is legit. Any networking companies that one signs with - candles, jewelry, toys, etc has a start up fee.
I would just want to check it out thoroughly to make sure the company is legit.
I'm sure there are lots of folks who have old and broken gold jewelry who wouldn't bother to take it to a pawn shop of sorts but this would be a night out with friends and making money instead of spending it. As you said, one party that husbands would not object to!

I found this on MSN (about the 'gold party'). They had a video about it.

Re: How to Save Money
Hey, ILG - more money saving deals!
I've been wanting another set of stainless steel cookware because my husband and I eat differently. That means I basically need two of everything. I bought a stainless set last year and my older T-Fal (non-stick - yuck - never again - ) was wearing out sooooooo - I found a deal!
10-Pc Stainless Steel Cuisinart set with two trivets and a stainless tea kettle for $149 - regularly $249. No shipping if you put in SHOPJCP.

I'm excited to tell him tonight that I spent some more money!!!
If you don't hear from me again.......................
