That's ok with me. However...

If your response here is to follow my posts, looking to see if you can trip me up with my own words, it might lead one to wonder if you're you're resorting to this tactic because you realize your argument on this matter is not very strong.

For the sake of perspective, does yours?
Frankly, I think that's not particularly relevant to the discussion, but to answer your question...

No she does not.

Blessings to you, my brother.

Tripping you up does not have a lot of personal appeal and would be so fleeting, that it would certainly be vain.

I am just inclined to believe that everyone of us does exactly what your are now making some sort of defining corrective statement along the lines of "don't speak if the bible does not state that very thing! Something like ..."take Item 1 and connect it to location B".

We do it.
We are humans engaging discussion.
You have picked this thread to make it the definition of inappropriate.
My observations are only for the purposes of seeing how you maintain this lofty mantra through your every expression here in HappyTown AFF.

2) Moderationists:
"The moderationist position is held by Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, and Anglicans, and within Protestantism, it is accepted by most Lutherans and Reformed churches. Moderationism is also accepted by Jehovah's Witnesses.
Moderationism argues that, according to the biblical and traditional witness, (1) alcohol is a good gift of God that is rightly used in the Eucharist and for making the heart merry, and (2) while its dangers are real, it may be used wisely and moderately rather than being shunned or prohibited because of potential abuse. Moderationism holds that temperance (that is, moderation or self-control) in all of one's behavior, not abstinence, is the biblical norm."
The Catholics have debated this to death.

This is another form of legalism. They argue you can do anything if the bible doesn't expliciltey name the offense. Some things even if offensive they call out as not sinfull if done in moderation.

Well, I think I see the angle you're coming from.

However, I dont particularly wish to keep this an ongoing issue spilling over onto other threads/discussions. Since you've chosen to throw in the towel on this particular topic here, that's fine. Lets keep it that way.

Just remember this conversation one day when you have someone giving you a hard time about something you do, or are okay with, even though they have no scripture for it. (Of course, there's always someone more hardline/conservative thatn you are, on some issue.)
Maybe you'll understand my point better when they acknowledge that they dont have any scripture to tell you that what you approve of is wrong... but they want to point to what they view as NT "principles" to turn their personal conviction into something that YOU shouldnt do.
