Envy. We see envious folks accuse people of pride. The underlying motive is to judge the target of their labeling. Some professions put their degrees on business cards. and Fellowship like FACS or other.
I have a friend i taught with that introduced him self at a reception having a doctorate and a woman decides to give her long detailed account of cholecystitis and he interupted her and said his doctorate was in history and he didn't know anything about gall bladders.
By the way. I am old fashioned. I work by referal and never seek any referrals at church. I realize sales people do as do some that network,

It's like having (or witnessing) an argument with my dog. LOL

"OHHHH!!!! You called me a DOG!" will be next screeching (or is that screaching?) post.

What I will proactively say about that, is that I make the comparison because my dog, while being extremely intelligent, also lives in a very VERY small universe where everything is centered on him and his immediate wants and needs. He doesn't understand the "rules" of an argument. All logic is filtered through his basic needs and desires and thus you cannot have a logical argument with him.
