That's why Ben Laden's still at large and the Taliban has steadily grown in influence in Afghanistan. Iraq was a bad move. We should have brought down the Taliban and brought Ben Laden to justice. Then we should have proceeded to invade Iraq if warranted. We didn't need the drain of man power and resources we've experienced in Iraq.
The problem is....most Republican ideologues have forgotten and just don't care that the mastermind behind the attack on our country was never brought to justice and that the actual regime who supported him (the Taliban) is still wreaking havoc.
