I don't know. There are some that believe that the term Son of God refers to His Deity and son of man to His humanity. You have to believe in the Son of God. Then there are some that take this verse in John to mean you have to believe Jesus is the I AM

Joh 8:24 Therefore I said to you that you shall die in your sins, for if you do not believe that I AM, you shall die in your sins.

The question arises, how can a mere man be the savior of all mankinds sins?

Some believe he HAD to be God in order to be our savior.

What about Muslims? They believe in Jesus, or they believe He existed and was a prophet, are they saved?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
