No, I don't think I said anything.

I wasn't trying to give you a hard time there, AQP. You've always had a great spirit and I appreciate your posts. Sorry for coming across with a bunch of staccatto bursts. I was just telling my boss that I "type like a polio victim" LOL.

I think my sentences come out in little bursts of thought as well.

It's a deep subject area. And Jesus is a huge Savior. We'll never plumb the depths nor soar to all of the heights.

I always enjoy your posts as well, they're usually always well thought out... I never noticed a polio victim tendency.

I agree, God is a great big, awesome God. Our finite minds will never completely figure Him out.

Bump.

I believe Ananias who was inspired to say it and Luke who was inspired to write it and the God who inspired them and reject these "Baptist wannabees."

Evidently sins are washed away during the act of baptism having his name INVOKED or it would NOT have found it's way into Holy Writ.

NOT ONE PERSON SINCE PENTECOST HAS RECIEVED REMISSION OF SINS WITHOUT BEING BAPTIZED IN JESUS NAME!!!!!!!!!!!

"Please ignore the posts that have provided ample scriptural proof for the remission of sins being provided by the blood of Jesus Christ and faith in the same Jesus Christ.

Instead, "believe" the 4 words excised from one verse and combined with 3 words from another verse in a different book of the Bible that tell us of "magic" in the water when you ignore the surrounding context."

Or have I not been generous with your view?

True belief is to obey NOT mental assent. Bible faith includes water baptism in Jesus Name FOR the remission of sins. ONLY through faith in obedience to the Word when the penitent is baptized in Jesus Name does Calvary's blood remit sins.

Not magic just Bible like Naaman dipping hinself in Jordan according to the saying of the man of God it worked.
Faith in obedience works every time it is tried.

You're preaching to the choir about "faith AND obedience" here, Bro.

But, how did John's disciples get "remission of sins" without the name of Jesus being used in baptism? Mark 1:4, Luke 1:77 and Luke 3:3.
